Known as ‘Nam Thien Nhat Tru’, this Buddhist temple is called the One Pillar Pagoda of Thu Duc, modeled on Hanoi’s One Pillar Pagoda. The one-room temple rises above a pond with tombs holding urns containing bones of monks in the rear of the compound. Buddhism is the single largest organized religion in Vietnam. Often times, we hear people calling themselves Buddhist, as we share the Gospel, but it is only an excuse to turn away. Their faith is determined by family tradition.
Pray for the Vietnamese who claim Buddhism as their religion but don’t follow any religion to find faith in Jesus. “And Jesus answered him, “It is written: “Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.” Luke 4:8 #pray4vietnam
