HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (HOE-chee-men) – Thank you for your prayers in December for the many opportunities to share the Gospel through the Christmas season. God heard those prayers and has blessed in tremendous ways. Now several thousand families, many for the first time, have heard the Gospel. A New Testament, a Gospel tract, and an evangelistic movie have been placed in their hands. They have been met by local believers or attended Christmas events where testimonies were given and the Gospel proclaimed. Already the fruit of new believers can be seen; pray that many more will take this step of faith and trust their lives to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Pray for continued follow-up from this Christmas season that will provide more opportunities to share the Gospel and lead others to Christ. Pray that the new believers will be obedient in baptism and discipleship and form the basis of new, multiplying churches.
