HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (HOE-chee-men) – Like Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 3:6, God provided the growth in Cong’s* life. Praise Him for the testimony of Cong’s salvation! Along the way, several people were involved. His friend accepted Christ first and then shared a testimony with him. Through that first friend, Cong met other believers, each sharing a testimony or an encouragement for him to accept Christ. As God removed the doubts, Cong took that step of faith. Recently Cong was baptized by that first friend who had shared the Gospel with him, as Cong himself gave testimony to his new life in Christ. Please pray that Cong and the small group of new believers he meets with will continue to grow in basic discipleship–obeying and putting into practice that which they receive from God. Pray that Cong and each person in this small group will faithfully share the Gospel with their family and friends so that many more will follow. Pray that from this small group, a new, multiplying church will emerge. (*pseudonym)
