New groups

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (HOE-chee-men) – Pray that God will provide for the establishment of 18 new Bible study groups that will, in turn, become new churches. Each of these small groups is unique, with some new believers and others who are still seeking to understand God’s offer of salvation. The gospel is still being shared and explained among these groups. Questions are being asked and answered with Scripture. Pray that many more will take the step of faith to accept Jesus and follow in obedience to baptism. Pray for faithful discipleship of the new believers. As they are being discipled in the basics of following Christ, they are also being shown the necessity for every believer to become a part of a local church. Pray that these groups will transition to such a local church in their context. Pray that even now, God will be raising up leaders from within these groups so that they can carry forward and multiply throughout the city.
