For the most part, Thinh* feels that he has many good things in his life. He is the first in his family to graduate with a university degree, and he has a good job in a growing company. He has friends and even a girlfriend whom he hopes to marry. Even at his young age, he feels that he has accomplished more than his parents were able to accomplish because of the many hardships they faced. Yet despite all of these good things in his life, Thinh knows that something is missing. He’s starting to ask questions about spiritual matters and God, not content with what he has traditionally heard. Pray that as the gospel is shared with Thinh, his heart will be truly open to receive. Ask God to help him to see that what is missing in his life is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Please join in praying on Monday, October 10, for the “10/10 Day of Prayer for Ho Chi Minh City” so that millions like Thinh will find what they are seeking in Jesus Christ. (*name changed)
