Iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk costs at a drink shop, while a small glass of cold green tea is usually free—they are two common drinks in Vietnam.
Shiphrah and Puah were Hebrew mid-wives who counted the cost to trust in God and His protection rather than the king of Egypt in Exodus 1. How often do we take what is easy and free. Pray for the struggles of Vietnamese believers who want to be used of God, yet are under the yoke and constrains of landlords, bosses, professors, and family. Pray for them to trust in their hearts to do what God leads them to start and do.
“God was pleased with the mid-wives. The people continued to increase in number—-a very strong people. And because the mid-wives honored God, God gave them families of their own.” Exodus 1:20-21 #pray4vietnam
