Waiting for customers to arrive, Cam, has time to reflect on how much a struggle this year continues to be selling fruit. The neighborhood market is much slower as more people are saving their money and not buying as much these days. She knows how hard it can be to praise God in the midst of the struggle—thatโs where coming together with other believers can help us to praise and pray when we seem like we cannot.
Being a part of a group allows Cam to be encouraged by other believers and help point her to Scripture showing her how God is faithful. Pray for new groups forming throughout the city to serve as a light for Vietnamese to know God.
“Even though the fig trees have no fruit, and no grapes grow on the vines, even though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no grain, even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty, I will still be joyful and glad, because the Lord God is my Savior.”ย Habakkuk 3:17-18
