Day 10 – 10 of 10 – 1
“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” Matthew 28:19-20
Pray for the people of the city. Pray for the millions lost without hope because they haven’t met Jesus. Pray for those isolated and afraid because of the current pandemic and lock down measures to turn and seek God. Pray for the factory workers, the young professionals, the families, pray for students, pray for office workers and the urban poor to be reached with the Gospel.
“Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.” Hebrews 12:1-2
Pray for the roadblocks to the city being reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ and the bridges to overcome those obstacles. Pray for the lies of Satan to be exposed and the truth of the Gospel to be abundantly shared. Pray for efforts to share the Gospel through websites and social media campaigns to engage the lost in conversation and lead them on a journey to Christ. Pray for Believers to share their testimony in word and deed so that their family and friends will be drawn to a relationship with God. Pray for those trapped in a drive for materialism and plagued with apathy to be convicted by the Holy Spirit and turn with urgency to Jesus Christ.
“Arise, shine, for Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you. For look, darkness covers the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and His glory will appear over you. Nations will come to Your light, and kings to the brightness of Your radiance.” Isaiah 60:1-3
Pray for disciples and churches to be multiplied throughout the city. Pray that new Believers will be discipled and consistently learn from Scripture – applying what they are learning in their own lives while also sharing it with others. Pray for Believers who have never been discipled to renew their commitment to Christ and begin actively growing in Him. Pray for churches to be started and multiplied among every segment of the population, every neighborhood, and every workplace.
