Thank you, God, for my home. Narrow 4-5 story homes crowd the city, down small alleys off of bigger streets.
There’s an Old Testament story of Elijah from 1 Kings 17. He’s been living in the wilderness after fleeing from an evil King and Queen, as he has no home. Later in his story, God tells him to head to another city, and the kindness of a Gentile widow extends the hospitality of her home to him. Look to verse 9, where we see God has, “…commanded a widow to feed you.”
God marvelously uses a Gentile woman to minister to this Jewish prophet in his time of need. Bless our homes God; let us use them for your glory.
Pray for Vietnamese to serve God powerfully through their homelife.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34
