Pray with us today on 10/10 for the 10 million people of HCMC, where every 10 minutes a lost person dies and goes to hell.
Today’s 3 posts give you a small glimpse of 3 districts in HCMC. Go here to begin praying for All the People – All the City.
“How can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”” Romans 10:14-15
Binh Tan District is considered the westernmost district in Ho Chi Minh City. The Saigon River runs along its southern border. This district is closer to rural and suburban areas compared to the more central and densely populated districts of the center of the city. As a result, this district has experienced significant industrial and economic growth, making it a prominent area for factories and industrial zones within the city.
The people in this district are quite familiar with two prominent temples. The burning of incense, offerings for idols and prayer all reveal the desire and hope for the troubles of the day. The people in Binh Tan District need our prayers because they are waiting for someone to tell them the Good news of Jesus.
Points of Prayer:
- Ask God to send those to proclaim the message of salvation to the people of Binh Tan District and others who pass through this district. Pray that the families and workers will accept His gift of salvation.
- Some have described this district as an ‘inner city of migrant workers. Far from the city center with lower costs of living many of those who have migrated from rural areas to work in the city live here. Pray that churches would start and multiply among them who will in turn take the Gospel back to other parts of the country.
- Pray for the people trapped by the spiritual strongholds represented by Chùa Bình An and Đình Nghi Xuân. #pray4vietnam #1010dayofprayer
