   This is a small neighborhood Buddhist temple. We spoke with a monk there who said the temple was around 40 years old. Just seeing this small temple, a fixture in the midst of a small neighborhood, and knowing that for 40 years people have been coming here and worshipping Buddha, praying to ancestors and seeking to find fulfillment in something other than God seemed almost overwhelming.

   Lord Jesus let your Name be known in this place. We pray that the next 40 years the people of this neighborhood would know of You and find repentance and faith in You. God we pray that you would raise up laborers to share the message of hope that you offer to every household in this neighborhood. Please pursue the people of this neighborhood, the monks and those that visit the temple so that they would know of their sin and need for righteousness found in Christ.
