This temple is in an area with factories and factory worker housing. In addition to the Buddhist temple and idols here, there is also ancestor worship. On the same grounds is also a small temple to the goddess Ba Chua Xu. The Buddhist temple is currently being expanded. While there, we spoke with one of the female monks that serves at the temple.
As we looked at this large temple, we thought of the many people who work in this area and are impacted by it. We prayed that God would change the hearts of the people coming here to worship as well as the monks here to turn with an openness to Him. Please pray with us that God will call out laborers to work among the factory workers in this area that the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ would be known and God’s name glorified.
