This is an extremely large Buddhist temple complex with a great number of large idols. While we were there we talked to a young man T who had come to worship. T was very convinced of his beliefs and he thought that the Gospel was just an opinion. T said that both Buddha and Jesus were the same as long as they help people to be good. He had heard the Gospel before and thought it was the right thing for us to believe but equally thought that Buddhism was the right thing for him to believe.
The people at this temple complex seemed very hard-hearted and unwilling to consider another belief. They have no desire to change. While we were there we prayed for the people at the temple and especially for T to realize that the Gospel is truth, not just opinion. Please pray with us for the people associated with this temple to be confronted with the claims of Christ. Pray that where this large temple complex sits a new multiplying church would be started.
