This large temple along a canal in the city was closed when we stopped by for a visit. The Vietnamese people are so kind however and the monks at the temple graciously opened the gates to give us a tour.
While we were there we prayed that God would open the eyes of the monks and help them to see His love and His offer for true peace in life. This is such a large temple and easily seen from the main road beside it across a big area. Our prayer is that the people of this neighborhood would not be drawn by this temple but rather be drawn by the God they see through all of creation.
