This temple is called the “Teachings from the sky” temple. It is already a large area and more construction or renovation is going on. We spoke with a young couple who had come to the temple to light incense, worship and pray. There were also many young monks around this temple when we visited. In addition to the normal idols, there is ancestor worship that goes on here. There is a memorial with pictures of several monks who self-immolated back in the 1960’s, revered as martyrs of Buddhism.
We prayed that Jesus’ light would spread through this place and make it evident that He is the One True God. We prayed for the young monks, so early in their life, that they would find their way to God and commit themselves to Him. We were burdened by the memorial of those monks who had such a high level of commitment to sacrifice themselves for their cause. We prayed that the people who come to this temple and for those in the neighborhood around it to love the Lord their God with all their heart, all their soul, all their mind and all their strength.

May the people who come here to worship realize that Jesus’ sacrifice was enough, and may they put their faith in Jesus instead of in Buddha or in works. Please deliver the monks and the worshippers from deception and enable them to hear Jesus’ teachings and know the truth instead. Please deliver them from the kingdom of darkness and transfer them into the Kingdom of the Son you love.
