We went by this temple one afternoon and the gates were closed at that time. It may have been just for the rest period in the afternoon. We spoke with a caretaker there who told us that this temple, which is known as the “True Light Temple” was a place that people came to pray to Buddha and especially for prayers for healing and health. Together with the worship area is also a free clinic where the monks will dispense herbal and organic treatments for various ailments.
Then Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
Dear God, please let the people of this neighborhood see that Jesus is the ONLY true light of the world and that all others are counterfeit. Please let the people that would come to this temple find the hope in You. Please bless the people who come to this temple because of illness to have health but to know that health comes from God alone and glorify You because of it.
