This temple is for the Cao Dai religion which is something really native to Viet Nam. The followers of Cao Dai believe in three levels of teaching including Buddha, Sages and Saints. The Saints they list include both Jesus and Confucius. They also venerate Sun Yat Sen, Victor Hugo and Joan of Arc. Taking some of their beliefs from Buddhism and some from Taoism and some from philosophy they take most of their organizational structure from the Catholic church.
God I pray that you will help the followers of Cao Dai that come to this temple to understand Your message of hope and salvation. Please help them to see that You alone are God and that Your Truth is found in the Bible. Help them to know that they can trust in salvation alone through Jesus Christ based on Your grace.
God I pray that you would bring Vietnamese Christians into the lives of the people who follow Cao Dai at this temple. Help them to boldly and clearly share the reason they have for confidence and hope in You.

Please give Cao Dai followers here and in other areas the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the true knowledge of Jesus, and may the eyes of their understanding be enlightened by the truth. Please deliver them from deception and show them that Jesus alone is the way, truth, and life. As people come here to worship or as they live and work in the neighborhood, may their thoughts continually turn to Jesus. We ask that this temple will become a center for worship of Christ alone (a church), and may You send laborers into this harvest to preach and make disciples.
