This page is provided for those looking for tools with which to share the Gospel in Vietnamese.  Please contact us if you have any questions about these tools or need further assistance.  There are several items listed here as well as some videos embedded so scroll all the way down to see everything.  If you see something with an underline, it’s a link for viewing or downloading that material.  If you are not a fluent Vietnamese speaker then we highly recommend that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with the content of these tools in English before using them (e.g. watch the videos in English before giving the Vietnamese version to someone so you can at least say that you have viewed it).

Personal Testimony

Our person salvation testimony is the overall best Gospel presentation we can make in any language.  We recommend that you write out and get comfortable sharing a brief 3-5 minute salvation testimony.  Be sure to write your testimony with a lost person in focus as your audience (don’t use Christianized vocabulary that they might not be familiar with).  If you are planning a trip to Viet Nam and would like to have your short testimony translated in to Vietnamese before you come, please email us for help.  Use the following 3 points to guide the writing of your testimony:

  • My life before I met Jesus Christ  Cuộc sống của tôi trước khi tôi gặp Chúa Giê xu
(Don’t glorify past sin, but give some explanation of your lostness and what brought you to your realization that you needed God.)
  • How I met Jesus Christ  Tôi đã gặp Chúa Giê xu như thế nào
(Share about the person or circumstances that led you to accept Christ AND share about the steps you went through such as confession, repentance and commitment to Christ as Lord of your life.)
  • My life after I met Jesus Christ  Cuộc sống của tôi sau khi gặp Chúa Giê xu
(Share about how your life is different since accepting Christ.  Make it relevant and up-to-date.  Share about how Jesus makes a difference in your life in recent months, weeks, today . . . .)

Colors of Life Tract

this tract follows a presentation of the Gospel using five colors:

  • Green – God offers life to the fullest
  • Black – We have sinned and are separated from God
  • Red – Christ died for us to pay the penalty for our sin
  • White – God offers salvation and cleansing through faith in Jesus Christ
  • Gold – Following Christ offers a life of blessings unmatched to any other

This tract is often used in coordination with bracelets which can be purchased or made using the same colors.  You can download the Vietnamese version of the tract or a bilingual English / Vietnamese version.

Steps to Peace with God

The pdf document linked here provides a presentation of the Gospel in Vietnamese taken from the Steps to Peace with God (Billy Graham Evangelistic Association) and a bilingual English / Vietnamese version of the same tract here.  Another version of this tract with a Christmas theme and introduction can be downloaded here.

iShare

From iShare ministries this is a brief video using hand drawing and a bridge illustration presentation of the Gospel.  The video is embedded below for your viewing after which links are provided for downloading the video to your phone, tablet or computer.  If you need the video in a format not provided here, please let us know.  The bilingual English / Vietnamese script for this video can be downloaded here.

Vietnamese Versions  (download the zip file, unzip it on your computer and then transfer it to your mobile device, phone, tablet, etc.)

  • iPhone / iPad / iTouch / Kindle version  (MP4 file which should work for these and is your best choice for any device if you don’t know what to use.)
  • iPod version (also MP4 but optimized for a smaller iPod screen.)
  • M4V (might be preferred for some devices.)
  • MOV (Apple Quicktime)
  • 3GP (some older Nokia phones may support this format)
  • AVI (larger file but may be useful for some older devices)
  • All formats in single zip file

giexulaai.com

Giê-xu là ai? translates to “Who is Jesus?” and this website provides a number of videos in Vietnamese to answer that question.  This is a great site to share with your Vietnamese friends and to encourage them to watch the videos.

Jesus Film Media

This is a great site for accessing all media pieces in Vietnamese from the Jesus Film folks.  There are corresponding apps in the iOS and Google Play appstores.  You can stream the J-film, or embed it anywhere.  You can download the entire J-film to your phone or tablet as well as individual clips from the J-film or Magdelina.
