In Vietnam, Christmas is not a holiday. Work and life continue on almost as usual. Christmas decorations and displays though are becoming more and more present, but the story of Jesus is still not fully known among all.
When decorations are to be found in the fronts of shopping malls, flocks of families and young people want their photos taken because there might not be any decorations at home. The Light of Jesus is ever so lighting dark places in Vietnam. By word of mouth, reading His word, online videos, and especially through new believers, the story of God’s love is becoming present. The need for God to be known is great. Pray for Vietnamese believers to rise up and become passionate evangelists, for God to call out hearts to share the Good News, and God be glorified this Christmas season.
“Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation.”” Mark 16:15
