We believe strongly in the necessity for every Believer to be an active part of a local Body of Christ, a local church. The Body of Christ should be marked in part by the mutual commitment together of every member of the Body. Part of that commitment is the mutual commitment to gather the tithes and offerings of the Body together for the work of the church as directed by the church. Denominations, while a para-church organization, in many ways serve as an extension of this commitment of Believers together.
As such, we strongly urge individual Believers to bring their whole tithe to their local Body as part of that commitment to the Body. We likewise urge local churches to support the denomination and the missions agencies of their denomination as part of the mutual commitment to that denomination.
